WELCOME TO "CASA AL MARE" - HOUSE BY THE SEA

Located here at 309 E. 20th Ave North Wildwood NJ, 08260 (google maps)

We've listed some things below that will help you navigate around the condo during your stay. The only thing you’ll need to read and understand before your visit is the first section about the keypad so you’ll be able to open the front door.

The red lines show our condo property lines on the house. The front door to our unit is up the front stairs and to the left and is marked 101.

Our storage lock-up on the ground by our parking spaces is also marked 101.

Parking for our unit is permitted only within the red lines and shows a wall mounted sign marked “parking for unit 101”.

Our front door lock

You’ll need a 4 digit code to enter the front door. Create your personal 4 digit code and text it to me so I can program it into the locks website settings. It will only work during this stay.

When you arrive simply enter your code and wait for the blue check mark to flash on the button shaped like the house.

It will flash a blue check mark when unlocked/locked.

When leaving, there’s no need to enter your code, once the door is pulled shut simply touch the button shaped like the lock, seconds later the button shaped like the house will flash blue. The door is now locked.

When you lock the door from the inside for the night, just manually turn the thumb lever to the left as you would a normal door.
A quick note about the storm door that leads to the rear deck in the master bedroom. To open the door using the handle you must push down on the handle to enter/exit. It won't open if you pull up on the handle.

General Condo Rules-
The condo association rules for the pool are posted on the refrigerator and cover most things you would need to know. Take time to sit and read all the information below. It contains everything you'll need to know about staying in the condo as guests.

Keys pertaining to our unit-
There are three guest keys hanging on a ring inside by the front door marked SHORE , POOL and a third key which is a for the bicycle lock. These are the only keys you will need beside your personal code for the front door keypad.
The SHORE key unlocks the front door (should the batteries fail in the programable lock). It also unlocks the rear exterior door in the master bedroom and unlocks our storage unit marked 101 down by our parking space.

The POOL key unlocks the pool gate.

General Courtesies -
This old house is split into four seperate condo units which means everyone is living under one roof with hardwood floors.

Renters are coming and going weekly during the summer which means you'll hear "house noise", and sometimes when you least expect it. We ask that you keep mindful and limit your louder activities before 10:00 pm.

In the closet next to the refrigerator are all the cleaning supplies needed to keep the condo clean while enjoying your vacation. We supply an ample amount of toilet paper, paper towels and tissues for our guests.
Bedding sizes are as follows- You will need to bring your own sheets. Master bed is queen size, second bedroom bunk beds are full size on the bottom bunk and twin size on top. The pullout sofa is also queen size.

WIFI and TV-
Our WIFI name is NETGEAR68. Our password is cloudyshoe927.

We have a Comcast internet service called FLEX to watch TV. We have a FLEX box installed for the living room TV, and for the master bedroom TV. The center bedroom has a dvd player but no internet TV.

To watch either one of our internet ready TV’s you’ll need to use the FLEX remote to turn on the TV.

When turning on the TV, the first screen will show about a dozen or more apps to choose from such as Prime video, Youtube, Disney, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, Apple TV, ect…

Any app you click on will require you to have your own subscription to watch that app. There are also hundreds of free movies for the kids on the FLEX app.

If you sign in to any app please sign out of that app at the end of your stay.

Riding bikes-
Our storage unit below has 7 guest bikes ready for riding which include two violet Schwinn girl's bikes, one black and tan Raleigh mens bike, one blue Schwinn mens bike, one young girls green Stingray, a young boys red Stingray and a boys BMX.  If you plan to ride bikes and leave them unattended for any period of time we ask that you please lock them together with the provided cable lock to prevent theft.

Before your ride, make sure to bring the guest key ring along with you so you can access the storage area before leaving for a ride. (there is a fee listed on your rental lease for lost or stolen bikes).
Boardwalk riding ends at 1:00 pm per NWW rules.

Applying sun screen-
As per condo rules, please don’t apply spray-on sun screen while standing on the painted patio decks.

It seems that the overspray lands on the deck and dissolves the paint. You can apply your spray-on sun screen out front of our property on the concrete, or under the deck by the outdoor shower before heading to the pool.

Heading to the beach-
Please do your best to limit the sand inside the condo by using the outdoor shower or foot wash when returning from the beach.

After showering, we encourage you to bring your wet towels and bathing suits up to the back deck to air dry by hanging them on the back of our patio furniture by our bedroom doorCondo rules prohibit hanging towels over the deck railings.

Beach chairs and an umbrella are in the storage area for you to use if you’d like to take them to the beach.

Heading to the pool-
If you are the first swimmers of the day the gate should be locked. Bring along the guest key marked POOL with you just in case. If you do unlock the pool gate in the morning please make sure you lock the gate at dusk.

Please don’t use the pool coming straight from the beach without showering in the outdoor shower first.

Patio set and umbrella-  When using the patio set on our rear deck, we ask that you close the umbrella each night before coming in due to the ocean breeze which has blown over the table and broke the pole. Also, would you do us a favor and water the flowers outside the bedroom door at least once or twice during your stay? Thanks!

Trash and Recycling-
North Wildwood prohibits recycling items being placed into plastic trash bags at the curb. Once the kitchen receptacle is full dump the contents directly into the recycle bin in our lockup. Trash and recycling are picked up every Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Please roll out our two bins to the curb in front of the stair area where no one parks. On Saturday afternoon we'll be there to bring them back into the storage lockup once you have checked out.

Avoid placing pizza boxes in the recycling container because they draw ants (we have a terrible ant problem on the Island). Please place any pizza boxes into the regular trash.

WE HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR STAY
